Got fine hair? Turn up the volume with these hairstyles

Oh how we wish there was a photo filter that instantly made fine hair thick and voluminous, don’t you too? We get it! If it seems like the effect of gravity only falls on your fine hair we’re here to change your hair game. Luckily, the answer is not hair extensions. We’ve come up with hairstyles that will turn up the volume of your fine hair, read on to find out...

Double ponytail

Messy pixie

Love ponytails but hate when it lays flat? The trick is to go for a double ponytail to make it look voluminous. Section your hair from ear to ear and secure the top half into a ponytail using a hair tie. Grab the lower section of hair into a ponytail right below the first one in a way that it is not easily visible. Wrap a small section of hair around the base of the ponytail to hide the hair tie and secure with bobby pins.

Asymmetrical bob

An asymmetrical bob is angled downwards on one side, drawing attention downwards rather than on the volume. If you love bob hairstyle this is the way to go! Part it on the side to add more volume.

Low bun

Tie a loose low ponytail using a hair tie and let the front section of your hair look messy. Now section the ponytail into two halves. Wrap one section around the base of the ponytail hiding the hair tie. Backcomb the remaining half to add volume and tuck it underneath the base of your ponytail with the help of a bobby pin.

Messy curls

If you have fine hair stay away from the straightener, instead keep your curling iron close. Cut your hair short – shoulder length or just below the shoulder. Curl your hair slightly and keep it messy to make hair look thick.

There’s nothing more stylish and chic than a pixie cut. Ask your stylist to give you uneven layers to make it look messy. Avoid using your hairbrush too often instead just run your fingers through the hair and you’re good to go!
