1. Ice

Since threading involves removing hair from the root, it opens up the pores. So the first thing you should do post threading is to apply ice over the area in a circular motion. This constricts the blood vessels and closes pores, in turn reducing swelling and redness.
2. Milk
Dip a swab of cotton wool in cold milk and swipe the affected area with it. The proteins in milk help reduce redness while healing and protecting the skin.
3. Aloe Vera

To soothe and heal your skin quicker, split open a leaf of aloe vera, scoop out the gel in a clean cup, mash it and apply. The cooling properties of aloe will help calm the skin, reduce the burning sensation and reduce any redness or bumps too.
4. Tea bags
Save your tea bags for later. Refrigerate them and use them on swollen, red skin for instant relief. The tannic acid and theobromine in tea relieve pain and readily heal damaged skin.
5. Cool Cucumber

Place thin slices of chilled cucumber on post-eyebrow threading cuts. Cucumber is a well known analgesic so it reduces pain. Further, its antioxidant properties will help heal the skin. .
6. Apple Cider Vinegar
Soak a cotton ball in organic apple cider vinegar and generously apply it on the affected area. Since it is mildy acidic and anti-bacterial in nature, it calms the skin and prevents burn.
In addition to remedies for cut and irritating skin after threading, here are some tips for sensitive skin after threading:
- Wash your face with anti-bacterial soap
- Avoid going out in sunlight
- Don’t apply facial bleach immediately after
- Don’t go in for a steam facial
