STAY BEAUTIFUL WITH LRT – HOW TO GET RID OF PORES NATURALLY
Blemishes and pores are not a girl’s best friend. Or a woman’s, for that matter! With all the cleansing, exfoliating and toning, sometimes pores still pop up on the surface of your skin. Those transform to blemishes, and well, gradually build up into the much-dreaded acne. Eep! With sunny days on the rise, sweaty glands work their magic… And while open pores are good, as they help your skin to breathe, etc. – these pores are also prone to trapping bacteria and dust, below the surface. We thought it would be best to rely on some simple home remedies to banish those pores…

The ice-cube technique

As the name suggest, all you have to do is make sure your face is squeaky clean; take a soft muslin cloth bunched around a handful of ice cubes, and gently massage your face all over for about 15-30 seconds. Not only does this have a cooling effect on the skin, but it tightens your pores and makes them less visible.

The baking soda mixture

Mix equal parts of baking soda and warm water (about 2 tbsps.); and in a circular motion, gently massage the paste into your pores for about 30 seconds. Afterward, rinse off the mixture with cool water.

The lemon and pineapple cloth

Deeply douse a washcloth in a mixture of lemon and pineapple juice and place the soaked fabric over your face for a minute (since this is bound to be a sticky procedure, do it over the bathroom sink). Afterward, rinse your face with warm water and you’ll begin to feel a firming and tightening effect on your skin, and you will look visibly brighter. For sensitive skin, prep your face with a mild moisturizer so that your face doesn’t break out with the citrus.

The yoghurt face mask

Because plain yoghurt contains lactic acid and probiotics, they keep the bacteria in check when applied on the skin. And all you need to do is apply a layer of plain yoghurt over your face, allow the mixture to be on your skin for 5-10 minutes, and then wash it off.

The tomato + lemon cleanser

With a cotton swab dipped in a mixture of tomato juice and lemon juice, apply it on your face… In ten minutes, wash your skin with cool water. Coincidentally, this mixture (upon regular use) also helps lighten the facial hair naturally… Win-win!
