Sonam Kapoor in Aisha
How can we forget Sonam Kapoor’s über fashion forward character from the movie Aisha? Sonam’s sartorial style sense in this rom-com set the bar high on fashion and was one of the first movies that brought international brands to the fore. Peplum skirts, jacquard tube dresses and flowing maxi skirts defined the diva’s gorgeous sense of style.

Deepika Padukone in Cocktail
Deepika’s character in Cocktail was everything we loved – a soft heart with a bad girl vibe on the outside. And we have to admit that she essayed the role to near perfection. Her sultry club minis, printed crop tops and tube skirts and a pleasant contrast to long line cardigans and sleek trousers toward the latter half of the film, had us dropping our jaws right till the end. We loved her style and here is how we aped her look.

Sonakshi Sinha in Dabangg 2
Rajjo pulled at our heart stings right from the word go. Sonakshi’s coy and mischievous demeanour became her USP in the film. Portraying a hard-core desi girl, she brought retro polkas on saris back in trend. What do you think about the look?

Alia Bhatt in Student of The Year
Every boy dreamed of being with Shanaya in Student of The Year. With a sense of arrogance and popularity, Alia Bhatt essayed the role of this high-school drama queen brilliantly well. True to her character’s style sense, she was seen in lace tops, quirky jackets, headbands and quirky colours. Here’s how we replicated her look.

Kangana Ranaut in Queen
Rani became the queen of our hearts instantly. Her simple and innocently humorous appeal, packed with a streak of adventure was a character we’d love to watch over and over. Printed cotton tunics and salwars with basic blue jeans and kolhapuris became a hit and not to mention, are easily wearable every day of the year. We chose to ape her look and this is how we did it.
