Here’s how you can recreate Kiara Advani’s quirky golden braid:

Step 1: Prep your hair by adding a little movement to them with a hair tong. Once curled, use hairspray so they remain slightly curled, especially around the tips.

Step 2: Make a clean middle parting and tie a low ponytail at the base with a transparent hair tie. Add more hairspray to make sure your hair stays put.

Step 3: Use a chunky, big neck chain or bracelet to accessorise your low pony like Kiara. Secure it nicely with an upin. Make sure you place the hooks of the chain underneath the low pony, so it’s not visible on your braid.

Step 4: Now, divide your hair into two even sections. Then, use a thin golden thread to add the golden effect to the normal fishtail braid.

Step 5: Make a fishtail braid using the golden thread and instead of making an intricate braid, take bigger hair sections and alternate it with the golden thread.

Step 6: Braid till the end and instead of leaving the tips as is, cover them with a golden thread.

Step 7: Now, give your braid a tousled look by simply tugging on the braid to loosen it a little.

Step 8: Lastly, pull out a few face-framing strands to add some softness to your overall look and straighten them slightly with a straightener and voila! You’re ready to slay!
