Ananya never shies away from posting bare-faced pictures of herself on Instagram and tbh, with skin that flawless, who wouldn’t? The actress turns to her homemade turmeric and honey mask for glowing skin. This recipe helps remove stubborn tan and leaves your skin moisturised and glowing.

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons yoghurt

Take all these ingredients in a bowl and mix them well. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes. Then, with your dry hands, scrub your face in a circular motion and remove the paste off your face - remember to be gentle. Wash the rest with cool water.

Janhvi is known for showcasing her love for homemade face packs on social media. One of her favourite DIY face masks involves using seasonal fruits with yoghurt, honey and orange to soothe, moisturise and exfoliate her skin. Here’s how to make this fruity face pack…

Ingredients

  • : Any available fruit
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon yoghurt or malai
  • Half an orange

Mash the seasonal fruit of your choice and add the honey and malai in it to make a paste. Apply it to your face. Then take the half-cut orange and gently rub it over the face-pack for a few minutes. Rinse it off with cool water and you’re good to go.

 

03. Sonakshi Sinha’s almond and clove scrub

We love the DIY almond and clove scrub that she swears by. This scrub not just removes dead skin cells from your skin but also nourishes them. It is exceptionally amazing for people with acne-prone skin.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoon fine almond powder
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon ground clove

Mix the ingredients. Then, take some of the mixture on your palm and apply it all over your damp face. Gently massage it on your skin for a few minutes to exfoliate it. Try this scrub twice a week and you’ll notice visible improvement in your skin tone.

This pack works to exfoliate, moisturise, hydrate and brighten your skin. I mean if it’s good enough for Ash, it’s good enough for us.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 2-3 tablespoons yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Mix these ingredients in a bowl and make a thick paste. Now, apply the paste over your face and neck and let it stay for 20-25 minutes until it dries up. Then wash it off with cool water. You'll notice visible results with regular use.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh neem leaves
  • 1 cup fresh tulsi leaves
  • 2 cloves
  • Some rose water

Grind the leaves and cloves together in a mixer. Once done, add some rose water to the mix till it forms a nice paste. Then, apply the mixture all over your face and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before rinsing it with cold water.
