3 stunning wedding hairstyles to try at home without heat

The Indian wedding season has officially begun with all too many weddings lined up and all too many Bollywood songs to groove to.

Of course, the only thing that’s more fun than grooving to these numbers is dressing up for the part. With multiple functions to attend and no fresh wedding hairstyle ideas, deciding your perfect wedding look can get a tad taxing.

A good hairstyle can make or break your look and therefore deciding the perfect wedding hairdo becomes extremely important.

If you have maxed out your budget and can’t accommodate a visit to the salon, then rely on these cool hacks to create heatless wedding hairstyles for short and long hair.

When it comes to no heat wedding hairstyles, the biggest advantage is that you are able to look just as pretty without damaging your hair.

Braided sleek high bun

One of the easiest bridal wedding hairstyles to do at home is the braided sleek high bun. This can be recreated for short hair by using hair extensions.

A wedding hairstyle like this one goes really well with gowns, and it’s a cocktail night favourite.

To get this look all you have to do is secure your hair in a tight high ponytail. Divide the same into two sections. Use one of the sections to form a high bun and secure it with a transparent or black rubber band. Use the remaining section to form a braid. Move this braided ponytail around the high bun and secure it with a few bobby pins.

Fishtail/ fluffy braid

One of our personal favourites is a fluffy braid. You can always give it a twist and braid it in a fishtail pattern. This angelic wedding hairstyle is very appropriate for the mehendi and sangeet functions.

All you have to do is back comb a section of your hair in the crown area and make a subtle puff. Secure the same with a bobby pin. Next, take the front section of your hair and part it as you normally would.

Braid the remaining hair as you usually do and secure it with a rubber band. Starting from the bottom to the top, loosen your braid gently. This is the most important part of this wedding hairstyle and will create the illusion of a thicker, fluffier braid.

Side Dutch bun

A side Dutch bun is a very famous heatless wedding hairstyle you can do at home. This hairstyle will compliment a lehenga perfectly and is great for your wedding day.

In order to get this hairstyle, start by parting your hair on the side. If you part it on the right side, take a section of your hair from the front and braid it in a regular fashion. Secure this braid with a rubber band and loosen it from the bottom to the top to form a fluffy braid. Take the remaining hair along with this fluffy braid to the right side and form a low side bun. Secure the same with a transparent rubber band and bobby pins to finish the look.

With these easy heatless wedding hairstyles, you are all set for the wedding season.
