How to switch your hairdo from desk to dinner

If you’re a working woman, you know the many struggles of having to do your hair as quickly as you can in the mornings and rushing off to work. Office hairstyles are anything but fancy. They’re easy and fuss-free, that’s why they are called ‘work hairstyles’, duh. But then we all have our Friday nights, when we just want to flee from our workplaces and indulge in some intoxication and gluttony. So, if you’re heading out to dinner or to a party after your work, or even if you have a weekday date you know that you just cannot go with your basic work hair. You gotta amp it up a little, don’t you think?
And like most good things, this too requires a bit of planning...the night before!

Prep

Prep your hair the previous day or night using TRESemme Keratin Smooth with Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. 2nd day hair is easier to style than 1st day hair as it’s fresh from the previous day’s shampooing but also tamed down and easy to manage. Prepping your hair with this shampoo and conditioner will give you smoother, shinier hair as it’s enriched with Keratin Protein and Argan oil that’s known for its hydrating properties. It’ll make your hair a lot easier to style and handle…

Here are a four easy hairdos you could try…

Crown Braids

This two minute hairstyle can give you an instant hair transformation. Middle part your hair. Make two braids on the either sides of your hair and secure them with hair ties. Tuck both the braids at the back of your head forming the shape of a crown and secure them with bobby pins. You’re done!

One-Sided Ponytail

The one-sided ponytail is another favourite easy hairstyle that you can quickly do after work before heading out. After you’ve teased your hair to add texture (comb a section of hair against its natural direction with a regular bristle teasing comb,)gather all the hair to one side and loosely secure it with a hair tie. Tease the hair again from below the hair tie and also tease it from the crown to add some drama. Loosen out some hair strands from the front and finish.

Classic Messy Bun

Tie your hair into a loose high ponytail. Then, loosely wrap the hair around the ponytail in the form of a bun and secure it with bobby pins. Run your fingers through the crown section and tease the hair. Finish with some texturizing spray.

Start by sectioning your hair into 4 parts, two in the front and two at the back. Then, tease the hair by backcombing your hair till you achieve the desired texture and then put it in a fuss-free high ponytail. Easy-peasy, isn’t it?

And there you have it, a complete guide to quickly get your hairdo from desk to dinner. Would you try it?
