And no matter how many moisturisers and serums you apply, if your body is not hydrated enough from the inside, it’s going to reflect on your skin’s health.

Mint and ginger green tea lemonade

Mint infused drinks are the ideal way to cool down your body and infuse a burst of freshness. Ginger on the other hand has amazing healing properties. When combined together these ingredients will make your skin glow like never before.

How to prepare: Boil two big glasses of water and add to that 4 bags of green tea, 1/2 cup chopped fresh mint leaves and 1/2 cup chopped fresh ginger. Allow this concoction to steam for 30 minutes and then strain into a large pitcher. Add half a cup of lemon juice and 2 glasses of water and refrigerate until chill.

Seasonal fruits are in full bloom in the summer months and what better way to use them than to make a smoothie. This smoothie is not just super delicious, but it is also extremely beneficial for achieving glowing skin.

How to prepare: Get your hands on the berries you can get, such as blueberries, strawberries, mulberries, raspberries, etc. and add it to a blender. Add some kale, a tablespoon of yoghurt or milk with a one tablespoon of honey. Blend it until smooth and strain it before serving.

How to prepare: To half a cup of plain coconut water add 2 frozen ripe bananas, 1 cup chopped pineapple and mango, 2 cups of spinach or kale and 1/2 avocado sliced. Blend all the ingredients well in a mixer and strain the juice to the container. If the solution is thick add some more coconut water to it. You can also add honey and flax seeds Refrigerate until chilled.
