Tired of all the chemicals in your body wash? Well, you can always whip up your own body wash at home.  Read on as we tell you, how you can create your own line of body washes sans chemicals.

Here’s a few you can try…
 

Coconut milk body wash:

Coconut is an unsung hero, it is a powerhouse of protein, copper and fatty acids. It is an excellent remedy to deal with wrinkles and fine lines, and gives skin a firmer appearance. Plus, it helps moisturise your skin. Whereas, jojoba oil is a great fix for dry skin.

How to go about it:

Pour ½ cup of coconut milk into an empty body wash bottle. Then, add 2/3 castile oil to the mix.

Then, add 1 teaspoon of raw honey, 2 tablespoons of glycerine, 3 tablespoons of jojoba oil. You could add 5 drops of lavender essential oil. Now close the bottle.

Voila! You are good to go!

You can use this body wash for about a year, as glycerine and essential oils have a shelf life of a year and jojoba oil doesn’t go rancid.

 

Castile soap body wash:

If you have sensitive skin, this is the correct body wash for you. As this significantly reduces your chances from suffering any reactions. Castile oil will nourish and soften your skin. It also possesses anti-bacterial properties.

How to go about it:

Start off by mixing 1/3 cup of castile soap, 1/3 cup of raw honey, 1/3 cup of avocado oil and few drops of vanilla essence. Pour these ingredients into an empty body wash bottle.

Shake well before use, this home-made body wash should last for a year.

 

Honey body wash:

Honey is anti-bacterial and antioxidants. It is clarifying as it opens up the pores making them easy to unclog. The enzymes in honey work as an exfoliator.

Plus, it is anti-inflammatory, so it helps soothe the redness as well as deal with breakouts.

How to go about it:

To prepare this body wash, start off by mixing 2 teaspoons of almond oil, ¼ cup of raw honey, 2/3 cup of castile soap and few drops of lavender oil. Then, pour these ingredients into a body wash bottle.

Shake well before use. This homemade body wash will wash off impurities and last up from six months up to a year.

In this recipe, avocado oil will help provide the moisture your skin requires.

How to go about it:

To create this concoction, start off by boiling water. Then, add oatmeal. Now, you can filter out the solution and do away with the oats.

Then, mix ¼ of castile soap, 1 tablespoon of vitamin E oil, and 2 tablespoons of avocado oil. You can add few drops of lavender oil to the mix.  Pour this solution into an empty bottle. You are all set to use this homemade body wash.
